DMMI Promotions Adds DocuSheeter Roll Feed To Their iGen3s
Press release from the issuing company
Burlington, MA (November 2, 2005) - DMMI Promotions has installed two DocuSheeter(tm) iG roll feed systems from Lasermax Roll Systems along with two Xerox iGen3 printers at their print facility in Mount Dora, Florida. DMMI uses the DocuSheeters to feed cut sheets from rolls to the iGen3s for their automobile dealership promotional applications.
"DocuSheeter's allowed us to save a penny per 11 x 17 sheet on paper costs. When you're printing two million images per month like we are, the savings add up pretty quickly," said Rick Teets, president of DMMI.
"Plus, the DocuSheeter is very reliable; it just keeps running."
DocuSheeter iG consists of a quick-change unwinder, cutter, and sheet transport. The system feeds single sheets on demand to the iGen3 from a 50" diameter roll. With large rolls running up to 15 hours or more
before depleting, both printer and labor productivity gains are significant.
A wide range of iGen3-supported stocks can be fed from the DocuSheeter iG. Bond, book, and cover stocks, coated and uncoated, in a broad basis weight range, all are available in roll form. Any of these papers that deviate from standard commodity reams, such as lighter or heavier weights, odd sizes, or coated papers, are especially cost-effective in roll form, with savings up to 30% or more.
The Lasermax Roll Systems DocuSheeter iG is marketed and sold in North America by Xerox. Outside North America, the DocuSheeter iG is available through the Lasermax Roll Systems network of dealers.
