Xplor International Brings Seven Conferences Together in One Location

Torrance, CA (October 17, 2005) — Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today unveiled a significantly expanded conference program for their annual Global Document Exchange Conference February 1-5, 2006 in Miami Beach, Florida in conjunction with the Graphics of the Americas and Xplor exhibition. For the first time, the event will feature Xplor’s traditional curricula plus six additional conferences for a total of seven events all under one roof. Xplor’s document conference will offer nine tracks covering 130 sessions and with the addition of six additional conferences, attendees can choose from over 225-plus educational sessions and forums, spanning 5-days. In addition, attendees can also view the latest products and technologies representing from over 500 vendors covering more than 500,000 square feet at the Miami Beach Convention Center at the co-located Graphics of the Americas and Xplor exhibits. Xplor’s document conference will focus on both transactional and traditional topics including the document lifecycle from concept through design, production through distribution, and archival through re-application, as well as new topics including human resources and business development tracks. The content is designed to appeal to both management and technical audiences. The various tracks will feature a combination of user experiences, tutorials and product comparisons required to evaluate current and future needs. “The Global Document Exchange Conference is rapidly becoming the educational event for 2006 with value for anyone involved in the document industry, said Skip Henk, EDP, president and CEO of Xplor International. “What makes this a “first of a kind” event is not only are we holding seven unique conferences and forums simultaneously but we have involved ten groups, organizations and other associations to provide content and support for this event in various ways.
