Second Goss M-600 ordered by rapidly expanding Tiskarna Reproprint
Press release from the issuing company
October 12th, 2005 – Former sheetfed printer, Tiskarna Reproprint s.r.o. (www.reproprint.cz), has just ordered its second Goss M-600 press in a year to meet market demand for web offset print. The 630mm cut-off press will be installed with a JF-50 folder end October 2005, and duplexed to the existing M-600 press beginning 2006.
Tiskarna Reproprint, with facilities in Zlin and Prague was founded about 14 years ago by Mr. Petr Samohyl as a sheetfed print house, but has recently opened a new web offset facility in Prague. The company can now deliver print for customers looking for fast turnaround at better prices.
“The Goss M-600 press offers quality, reliability and flexibility. It has a very good reputation in Central and Eastern Europe and is currently the bestselling 16-page press here,” notes Vincent Pearson, Director of Web Systems at Heidelberg Eastern Europe, Goss International’s agent for commercial web presses, parts and services in the Czech Republic. “As well as the M-600 press’ reputation, customers are also drawn by the extensive service network offered by Heidelberg Eastern Europe, which ensures that customers get the best possible service and support.”
Tiskarna Reproprint s.r.o., which has experienced rapid growth in demand for web offset print since it bought its first M-600 press a year ago, has consequently decided to buy a second Goss M-600 press to respond to the developing needs of local markets and demand from abroad.
Vincent confirms, “Due to internal market growth and the assimilation of orders from abroad, the Czech print market is expanding rapidly at a rate that currently far exceeds that of Western Europe. As yet, local supply has not caught up with demand. Switched-on companies like Tiskarna Reproprint s.r.o. are making the most of the opportunities available, investing in web offset technology to help deliver high-quality print at the best prices.”
Tiskarna Reproprint s.r.o. specializes in commercial print products including flyers, marketing materials for big retailers, and magazines. The company still offers sheetfed print, mainly at its facility in Zlin, but its Prague facility is principally for web offset with large premises offering room for anticipated future expansion.
