Deluxe and Independent Bankers Association of Texas Extend Relationship
Press release from the issuing company
ST. PAUL, Minn., Oct. 12 -- Deluxe Financial Services today announced it has extended its longtime endorsed relationship with the Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT), a trade association representing more than 2,000 Texas community banks and branches. The relationship, which began in 1992, reflects a shared dedication to the success of member banks and a commitment to helping those banks enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
As the relationship enters a new chapter, IBAT announced its endorsement of Deluxe ID TheftBlock, an advanced suite of fraud monitoring and protection services offered to consumers on behalf of financial institutions. Deluxe ID TheftBlock utilizes a variety of services including credit bureau monitoring and alerts, check order screening, loss recovery and resolution services (including access to the Consumer Fraud Resource Center), identity theft insurance and a membership kit to offer the most effective means to help financial institutions and consumers protect themselves from the potential dangers of identity theft.
"Deluxe and IBAT share a commitment to providing solutions that drive growth, increase customer satisfaction and improve operational efficiency for financial institutions," said Chuck Feltz, President, Deluxe Financial Services. "Deluxe ID TheftBlock strengthens that commitment, empowering financial institutions with the risk management tools to protect customers against identity theft and themselves against suspicious account activity."
Deluxe will continue to provide check printing and turnkey solutions that enhance services offered to member banks, working with IBAT to help members achieve their business objectives and remain a valued resource for their customers.
"Deluxe provides our member banks with relevant products and knowledge to help them achieve their business objectives," said Chris Williston, President & CEO, IBAT. "We are delighted to endorse the Deluxe ID TheftBlock services in light of several new Texas ID theft laws which became effective Sept. 1. This agreement solidifies and strengthens Deluxe's position as a financial industry thought leader and demonstrates its commitment to helping us create value for community banking."
