Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, NY - September 13, 2005 - PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, announced that Kodak has joined as an Executive Member. This elite membership is offered to organizations with broad interests in digital printing and the desire to help set strategic direction for PODi and the digital printing industry. Executive Board member companies make a significant investment to further PODi's primary goals of digital print standards development, market development and community development. This select group of high-profile organizations represents a broad spectrum of the digital printing industry. Other Executive members include EFI, HP, IBM, Pitney Bowes, Quark and Xerox. "We are extremely pleased to have Kodak join the PODi Executive Board. Kodak has a solid reputation in a number of areas critical to the digital marketplace, including color output and variable data publishing. Their product set encompasses all segments of the digital printing domain, from transactional to commercial printing, making them a premier player in the digital printing ecosystem," said Rab Govil, president of PODi. "Furthermore, their commitment to open standards aligns perfectly with the goals of the PODi vision. In fact, through its NexPress division Kodak was a participant in the creation of the PPML standard from the beginning." "PODi is assisting printers in market development. The ability to support printers in developing new markets and applications is of the highest level of importance to Kodak. We are pleased to be part of PODi's efforts in growing the world of digital print," said Barb Pellow, chief marketing officer, Kodak's Graphic Communications Group.
