Pictorial Offset Announces Three FSC Compliant House Stocks

Press release from the issuing company

Carlstadt, NJ, September 10, 2005 – As a SmartWood certified FSC Chain-of-Custody compliant printer, and in keeping with its environmental policies and its commitment to civic responsibility, Pictorial Offset Corporation today announced that it would offer customers a choice of three FSC certified house stock papers for those customers that wish to print on environmentally responsible and forest sustainable papers. The three papers that Pictorial has selected are Domtar EarthChoice, Neenah Environment; and Mohawk Options. By special arrangement with the Paper Manufacturers, for a limited time, these papers will be offered to print-buyers at competitive rates. “This new offering is an example of Pictorial's continued commitment to our environment, our community, our customers and to ourselves,” says Donald Samuels, Managing Partner of Pictorial Offset Corporation. “It's the right thing to do for all of us. These three environmentally responsible paper companies, Domtar, Neenah and Mohawk are leaders in environmental sustainability, and we are proud to be associated with the great strides that each of these paper companies have made in this arena. By offering these papers as house stock, Pictorial is making it easier for civically-minded corporations, designers and print buyers to keep their commitment to the environment and making it easier for them to also do the right thing.” Pictorial Offset Corporation was SmartWood certified as FSC compliant through the Rainforest Alliance earlier this year, shortly after their dual re-certification to the ISO quality and environmental standards.
