callas software and Gradual Software agree on strategic partnership

Berlin/Ghent/Chicago, September 9th, 2005. callas software has entered into a technical and commercial partnership agreement with Gradual Software. The non-exclusive agreement calls for Gradual to work closely with callas to develop "configurators" for callas applications, allowing the award-winning CaslonFlow software to seamlessly integrate with callas products. CaslonFlow connects a range of third-party applications, adding built-in tools, to create a publishing workflow customized to the individual needs of a production environment. CaslonFlow 5.5, announced at Print 05, includes configurators for the newly available CLI (Command Line Interface) versions of callas pdfInspektor3, pdfColorConvert, and pdfCorrect, which have been designed for smooth integration into production environments. Their full power is available via the intuitive CaslonFlow interface, with the simplicity and convenience of a plug-in. Users can closely monitor the execution of a callas CLI application during the workflow process from the CaslonFlow interface, without the need to separately launch it. According to Olaf Druemmer, CEO, callas software, this agreement will benefit users across the publishing spectrum.
