Press release from the issuing company

MONTREAL, Sept. 7 -- Transcontinental, the largest book printer in Canada, has been chosen by French publisher Editions Gallimard to print Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth tome in the thrilling Harry Potter series. Transcontinental is the official printer for the entire Canadian market of the 720-page French-language version, which will become available in bookstores on October 1. "We're very proud of Editions Gallimard's continuing confidence in us," said Serge Bragdon, president of Transcontinental's Information Products Printing sector. "It's an honour for us to renew our association with this engrossing series." More than 200,000 copies will be printed at Transcontinental Gagné in Louiseville, Quebec, where Transcontinental is investing $20 million in the construction of a new, ultra-modern printing plant. Work is proceeding well and should be completed by the end of this winter. 100% Recycled Paper Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be printed on unbleached, 100% post-consumer recycled paper.
