Enovation Tackles Industry Issues at Print '05

Press release from the issuing company

VALHALLA, N.Y. (Aug. 29, 2005) – The graphic arts landscape is continually changing, forcing industry professionals to remain current on the issues, trends and new technologies that are affecting their jobs and their businesses. Considering the hype and plethora of marketing messages, that's no small feat. Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. understands the importance of staying up-to-date on industry issues and is helping printers and prepress specialists get the answers and the information they need. During Print '05, Enovation will host two educational seminars, free to trade show attendees, to discuss the implementation of screening technologies and the development of new plate technologies. Enovation's seminars include: “High Definition Screening: It's Not One Size Fits All” Friday, September 9, 2005 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Room S403ab, South Hall, Level 4 “The Power of Processless: The Impact of New Plate Technologies” Monday, September 12, 2005 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Room S404bc, South Hall, Level 4 “Education and information related to current issues and trends are key components to maintaining and growing a successful business and we're committed to giving our customers the advice and counsel they need,” says Tim Combs, Enovation's senior vice president, sales and marketing. “Screening and processless plate technologies are currently two of the biggest trends in our industry. They're also important tools for gaining a competitive edge if implemented and used correctly.” Enovation's session on screening technologies will dispel the myth that a single screening technology is the screening technology. Despite some industry claims, there's no one technology that will work for every situation and every image. Enovation's experts will examine the various screening technologies on the market today – including conventional, hybrid and stochastic – and the advantages and disadvantages of each. Additionally, they'll identify the considerations that must to given to current processes when deciding to employ one or more screening technologies. Monday's free seminar will tackle the issues surrounding processless plate technology as it comes of age. This seminar will answer the questions everyone's asking: What is it? Who should be using it? and Can I benefit from it? Enovation's experts will help attendees gain a better understanding of this new technology and the various products in the marketplace today. These seminars are free to all Print '05 attendees.
