Implementation Of Radius Solutions ERP Software Results In Four Multi-Color Plants Going Live

Press release from the issuing company

Chicago, IL – (July 26, 2005) Cincinnati based, Multi-Color Corporation, the world’s largest producer of both in-mold labels and heat transfer labels and a major manufacturer of high-end pressure sensitive labels and shrink sleeves - purchased Radius Solutions PECAS Vision ERP application. The Company needed a software solution that could accommodate their rapid growth in the label industry. After an extensive review of several ERP solutions, Multi-Color decided to implement PECAS Vision in all of their manufacturing locations. Today, Radius Solutions is pleased to announce, Multi-Color is live at four of its plants, with the fifth plant expected to “go-live” on August 1st of this year. From the original kickoff meeting to the first live plant, which also included the corporate headquarters it took a total of ten months for Multi-Color to “go-live”, with additional plants taking approximately two-three months per plant Multi-Color Director of Information Technology Mike Kuehn says “Things are going well. Our facilities are beginning to see the value of putting in a common, integrated solution across all facilities. Radius has worked hard to resolve any issues we have had.” Kuehn added, “We have a dedicated project team to do the implementations, and Radius has been able to provide assistance with training and support.” Radius Solutions President David Taylor is especially delighted with the implementation thus far. He says, “We have been in business more than 30 years. We have an industry specific solution and we know how to execute a successful multi-site implementation. The Multi-Color project is just about complete and I think both parties would agree the experience has been a positive one.” Multi-Color is currently in the planning stages of adding three additional facilities to “go-live” on PECAS Vision in the first half of 2006.
