IOWA CITY, Iowa--Aug. 15, 2005-- MetaCommunications, a leading developer of business management and workflow solutions for the graphic arts industry, today announced the doubling of its engineering operations. The company recently moved its engineering team in St. Petersburg, Russia, to a larger office complex to accommodate new software engineering hires. Additional engineering staff is also being added in MetaCommunications' Iowa City headquarters. "The quality and depth of our cohesive engineering team is outstanding. The software engineers, many of whom have worked together since the beginning of the company, have been instrumental in creating our award-winning products," said Robert Long, Executive Vice President of MetaCommunications. "We look forward to seamlessly incorporating the newest highly-skilled engineers into our team. They will play a key role in our ability to continue to meet demand from the world's top creative agencies, corporate marketing groups, printing and prepress firms, and publishers." The latest example of MetaCommunications' software engineering team's success is Digital Storage Manager, the first intranet search and archive management system for creative workgroups. Many companies are currently evaluating the potential for the powerful and intuitive product to radically improve the ability of users to find, tag and archive files. Digital Storage Manager enables users to quickly search across their entire network of both online servers and offline repositories to accurately find any file.
