New Xerox Supplies Distribution Centers Speed-Up Delivery Time

Press release from the issuing company

Xerox Corporation has expanded its supplies distribution network by contracting with three new distribution centers located in Boston, Austin, Texas and Rochester, NY. In an effort to improve product availability to its graphic communication customers, these new centers will reduce delivery lead times on essential paper and specialty media products. Print providers face increasing pressure for faster turnaround times for print jobs, often as short as days and even hours, and having the right paper or media product readily available is critical. These new centers will cut delivery time of Xerox's media supplies in half, providing customers in surrounding areas with same day and next day service. Also, for the first time ever, customers in the Cincinnati and Louisville, KY areas will also have access to the enhanced delivery options. Xerox operates over thirty supply distribution centers in the United States. The new centers complement a continuously expanding Xerox media and substrate product portfolio. New products launched this year include: Digital EA Color Transfer Paper; Premium Digital Carbonless, carbonless papers for digital color printers; and Digital Color Elite, Select and Supreme Gloss coated papers. Xerox has also extended existing product lines with more size and weight options. For more information on the centers please call 1-800-822-2200.
