CPrint Names Six Top Performing Printing Companies

Press release from the issuing company

(May 28, 2008) CPrint, Certified Printers International, has presented its highest award in print shop management to six affiliated companies.  The Superior Performance in Print Shop Management award is conferred on companies maintaining high standards of operational performance as measured by financial strength, profitability and growth.  All six companies exceeded the goals required to qualify; an achievement CPrint believes puts them amongst the top performing independent printing companies in North America.

CPrint sets the bar high when it comes to qualifying for this award. Companies must accomplish sustained sales growth over a three year period of at least 15%.  They must be able to demonstrate financial strength, with a minimum current ratio of 2:1. Finally they must show good profitability with a minimum of 20% income before owners' compensation.

"Our Superior Performance in Print Shop Management award recognizes high achievement in running a small business," commented Tom Crouser, president, CPrint, Certified Printers International, "These goals are not easy to meet, but over twenty three years of study have determined them to be benchmarks of success. We are proud to announce our winners who got there by following the CPrint business model. They are prospering; their businesses are providing them with an exceptional standard of living and they are organized to be able to take time off for vacations and leisure."

The winners are Barbara and Arden Hagele of imPRESSive Printing in Tampa Florida; Kevin and Debbie Hebert of St Charles Printing in Boutte, Louisiana; Judy Nesser of K-Team Printing and Imaging in Hammond, Louisiana; Kevin and Rhonda Wax of Wax Family Printing, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Mark and Carrie Smith of Peacock Printing in Mt Vernon, Illinois; Ralph and Connie Pugmire of the Reprographics Center in Farmington New Mexico.

CPrint is an organization of independently owned family-based businesses that strive for professionalism and performance among small businesses that commonly lack highly developed systems and leadership. Companies from throughout North America participate in the program. The CPrint designation is available only to printers who demonstrate exceptional quality and service by maintaining standards in operations, training, equipment and software as well as worker benefits and working conditions. This program requires annual onsite recertification as well as participation in continuing educational programs.
