Press release from the issuing company

(SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. Aug. 2, 2005) - Printing Industries of New England (PINE), the largest trade association to serve commercial printing and graphic communications companies across New England's $11 billion print marketplace, will host it annual three-day Northeast Regional Print Management Conference Sept. 29-Oct. 2 at The Samoset Resort, in Camden-Rockport, Maine. The conference is an opportunity for print and graphic arts company owners, presidents, executives and managers others to gather in a relaxed resort setting, and mix industry business with leisure activities. "We're excited to be returning to Maine," said PINE President Jim Tepper. "The Samoset Resort is one of the finest resorts in all of Maine. The coastal setting, its golf course, downtown shops in nearby Camden and more make for an ideal setting for regional executives and their spouses or significant others. Hosting the conference in such a setting always seems to get folks relaxed and leads to creative brain-storming and idea sharing." The conference is a balance between keynote addresses by industry thought leaders, informal roundtable discussions and networking among industry peers and vendors, and recreational activities such as golf, hiking, sightseeing, and relaxing in the comfort of a destination resort. Paul Reilly, the former president and chief executive officer at Cenveo who has earned rave conference reviews in the past, will be one keynote speaker. An accountant by training and a business executive by practice, Reilly will share his global view on emerging national trends and how they affect business on the regional and local level. Other topics slated for keynote discussion, analysis and review are digital asset protection, evolving print applications in the health care, financial services, information technology, and consumer retail industries; the importance of fulfillment; successful selling to advertising and creative service agencies; and industry economic trends in 2006. The conference opens with a golf outing on Thursday, Sept. 29. A block of rooms is being held through Aug. 30.
