Industry Guru Frank Romano to Speak to Boston Print Buyers

Boston, Massachusetts - August 2, 2005 - Boston Print Buyers today announced that industry expert Frank Romano will be the featured speaker at their fall kick-off dinner program on Monday, October 17th, 2005 at the Millennium Bostonian Hotel in Boston, MA. Romano will speak about "The Future of Print and Media Buying in a Digital Age" to professionals who buy or influence the buying of printing. Frank Romano Frank Romano is widely considered to be the leading expert in printing and the graphic arts. Professor Emeritus at Rochester Institute of Technology and the author of 40 books, Romano has a career in printing and publishing that has spanned more than 40 years. Not only is he the editor of the Pocket Pal, but he has also authored most of the books available today on the topic of digital printing. His books on QuarkExpress, InDesign, and PDF workflow were among the first published in their fields. Romano has founded eight trade publications, including Typeworld (now Electronic Publishing), Computer Artist, Color Publishing, The Typographer, and EP&P.
