Kodak Integrates United States and Canada Sales for Graphic Solutions and Services Portfolio

Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, NY, July 14 – Eastman Kodak Company’s Graphic Communications Group (GCG) today announced that it has integrated its United States and Canada region (U.S.&C) sales force for its Graphic Solutions and Services (GS&S) portfolio. Graphic communications customers now can look to their Kodak sales representative for solutions ranging from workflow software and proofing to digital printing and digital and conventional supplies. “It has been only about 100 days since the Kodak acquisition of Kodak Polychrome Graphics and just over three weeks since the acquisition of Creo was completed. I hope the speed of this integration conveys how committed we are to the graphic communications industry and our customers,” said Kevin Joyce, Managing Director, U.S.&C Region and Vice President, GCG. “Our unified sales force will work with customers to supply the best solutions – digital or conventional, software or hardware, prepress or production – to help them grow their businesses.” In the United States and Canada, individual sales representatives will work in teams within geographic territories, approaching customers through coordinated deployment of the industry’s most knowledgeable sales professionals. The key roles in the integrated organization are Territory Sales Managers and Solutions Sales Managers. Territory Sales Managers are responsible for maximizing sales and customer satisfaction within a defined geographic territory, managing strategic customer relationships and providing technical support to customers. Territory Sales Managers cover the region in 11 districts. Solution Sales Managers are responsible for maximizing sales within the GS&S solutions portfolio – primarily prepress and digital printing systems, workflow software and consulting. Working together with Territory Sales Managers, the Solutions Sales Managers will introduce the GS&S portfolio of business solutions within new and existing accounts. Mike Ciaramella leads the Sales Teams in the Eastern Zone, which includes Canada. Rich Rindo leads the Western Zone. Michael Ring leads the Solution Sales Managers focused on Digital Printing. Sales managers are backed by teams of sales and support specialists, who will work together to uncover customer needs, demonstrate how Kodak’s solutions can meet customer needs and provide industry-leading training, professional service, application support, troubleshooting and repair. Kodak’s sales organization also incorporates specialized Market and Segments teams that provide expertise for specific customers and market segments. Led by Filip Buyse, key segments include national and global accounts, newspapers and packaging. This group also includes a team focused on bringing advanced technologies from Kodak into the field. “Our strategy is to present one Kodak face to the customer. Around the region, Kodak teams will ensure that customers have ready access to some of the industry’s most knowledgeable sales and application experts, so that customers will find in Kodak a valuable partner in their success,” Joyce said.
