Kodak Names United States and Canada Leaders for Graphic Solutions & Services Unit

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – July 14 – Eastman Kodak Company’s Graphic Communications Group (GCG) has named new regional sales, marketing and operations leaders in its Graphic Solutions & Services (GS&S) operating unit. The leadership team reports to Kevin Joyce, Managing Director, United States and Canada Region (U.S.&C) and Vice President, GCG. “We are rapidly and thoroughly integrating this organization into one that is uniquely able to help customers grow their businesses and increase their profits,” Joyce said. “Kodak is committed to providing its customers superior services and solutions, and this team will deliver on that commitment.” The following people were named to the GS&S leadership team. Barry Quart – Marketing Leader for the U.S.&C region. Quart will develop and execute regional marketing strategy in support of GCG’s strategic product groups in key market segments. Quart joins the U.S.&C leadership team from Creo Americas where he was Vice President, Marketing. Based in Vancouver, Quart previously served as project manager, product manager, director of commercial and publication workflow products, and Product Marketing Vice President. Mike Ciaramella – Sales Leader for the Eastern Zone. Ciaramella joins the U.S.&C leadership team from Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) where he was Director, Eastern Zone for the U.S.&C region. Based in Philadelphia, Ciaramella was previously Corporate Director of Sales Development and Vice President, Sales for Creo Inc. He has also held key sales and leadership positions with Scitex and Kodak. Richard Rindo – Sales Leader for the Western Zone. Rindo joins the U.S.&C leadership team from KPG where he was Director, Western Zone for the U.S.&C region. Based in Cleveland, Rindo joined KPG in 1997 as a regional sales manager and also served as Director of Segment Sales and Integrated Solution Sales. Prior to joining KPG, Rindo spent over fifteen years in sales and marketing with Kodak and Xerox. Filip Buyse – Sales Leader for Markets and Segments. Buyse is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships and alliances in key national and global accounts as well as the newspaper and flexo packaging market segments. Buyse joins the U.S.&C leadership team from Creo Inc.,where he was Vice President, Sales for the Americas. Based in Dallas, Buyse was previously Vice President, Sales, Segments and Channels and Business Development Vice President. Michael Ring – Sales Leader for Digital Printing. Ring also reports to Venkat Purushotham, General Manager and Vice President, Digital Printing Solutions, GCG. Ring is responsible for working with the territory sales managers to support and drive sales of all Digital Print product and solutions offerings in the region. Ring will lead the Digital Sales Force, Digital Support Specialists, and Business Development teams. Ring joins the U.S.&C leadership team from NexPress where he was Vice President of Sales for the U.S.&C region. Don Whaley – Sales Leader for the Channel. Whaley is responsible for developing and managing strategic channels, strengthening existing channels and establishing new channels in order to drive revenue and profitability. Whaley joins the U.S.&C leadership team from KPG, where he was Director of Channel Management for the U.S.&C. Based in Norwalk, Whaley joined KPG in 1998 as Zone Operations Manager and was Director, Field Sales Operations prior to his current role. Prior to joining KPG, Whaley was a Territory Sales Manager with Kodak. Dave O’Brien – Operations Leader. O’Brien leads regional operations functions to support business planning and processes within the region. O’Brien joins the U.S.&C leadership team from Creo Americas where he was Vice President, Finance and Operations. Based in Vancouver, O’Brien joined Creo Inc., in 1999 and has held positions that include production manager, project manager, and operations director. Most recently he was acting Vice President, Finance and Operations for Creo Japan. Bob Rohr – Sales and Technical Support Leader. Rohr joins the U.S.&C leadership team from KPG where he was Director, Sales & Technical Operations for the U.S.&C region. Based in Norwalk, Conn., Rohr joined KPG in 1997 and has served as Regional Manager of Customer Solutions and Director of Business Operations. Rohr’s career with Kodak spans more than 30 years in a variety of sales, support and marketing roles.
