Jet Wins Awards for Print Excellence in the 18th Annual Gold Ink Award Competition

The Gold Ink Awards is a nationwide printing competition co-sponsored by Printing Impressions and PrintMedia magazines. The Gold Ink Awards recognize those responsible for outstanding print production achievements across North America. This competition promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies that produce the best in print media. Competing against nearly 1,500 entries from printing and graphic arts firms across the country, Jet is awarded as follows: Millennium Park Print Sets - Gold Category: Potpourri-Miscellaneous “A6” - Bronze Category: Soft Cover Books The MOMA Book - Pewter Category: Books, Fine Editions (Re-th)ink on Paper Invitation - Pewter Category: Potpourri-Miscellaneous These winning pieces surpassed their competitors based on print quality, quality of color separations, technical difficulty and overall visual effect. In addition to this award recognition from top publishing, production and manufacturing professionals, Jet has also won awards this year in competitions sponsored by Sappi Fine Paper as well as the AIPX (Achievements in Print Excellence) Awards, a statewide printing competition hosted by the Printing Industry of Illinois and Indiana. “As a printer, it is a significant honor to win a Gold Ink Award.
