ColorGraphics, Inc. acquires Quebecor's George Rice & Sons

Los Angeles, Calif. (June 30, 2005) — Southern California-based ColorGraphics, one of the largest family-owned commercial printers in the western United States, has acquired George Rice and Sons, also of Los Angeles, California. Formerly owned by Quebecor World, George Rice & Sons is one of the oldest established commercial printing companies on the West Coast. ColorGraphics embraced the opportunity to continue its path of growth through the acquisition of this highly regarded facility. ColorGraphics’ President and CEO Chris Madison states, “As a longtime industry innovator, ColorGraphics strives to be the most responsive and easiest printing company to do business with while outperforming customer expectations.
