Metacommunications To Host First User Group Conference

IOWA CITY, Iowa – June 13, 2005 – MetaCommunications, Inc., a leading developer of business management and workflow solutions for the graphic arts industry, today announced its first ever conference for customers. The Northeast User Group Forum, which will be held Tuesday, June 28, in New York City, will feature case studies by Southern Graphic Systems and Redspring Communications. MetaCommunications will also discuss the latest versions of Virtual Ticket and Job Manager and offer a sneak peek at new products in development. Gary Bernier, Corporate Director of Technology for Southern Graphic Systems, a 28 site Virtual Ticket customer, will speak about supply chain collaboration in the packaging graphics market. Tracey Lenz, Manager of Client Services Operations for Redspring Communications, will discuss how Virtual Ticket has helped catapult the custom publishing company to excellence in its pursuit of quality and innovation. Robert Long, Executive Vice President for MetaCommunications, will share information and demonstrate products in development, including a tool that provides workflow management for digital proof approvals and a storage solution for searching production digital assets. “This promises to be a high-impact event that will enable users in corporate creative, creative services, printing, prepress and publishing organizations to benefit from the experience and insights of peers,” said Robert Long. “Based on the overwhelming interest in this regional event, we are already planning to host a user group conference for all customers later this year.
