Entry Deadline Approaching For 'Printing Innovation With Xerox Imaging' Awards

Press release from the issuing company

There are just about two weeks left to submit entries for Xerox Corporation's 2005 Printing Innovation with Xerox Imaging Awards. The awards, a multinational competition created to recognize excellence and innovation in digital printing, are open to printing applications produced on Xerox digital equipment. Categories for this year's competition include: - Variable Print/1:1 Marketing Communications - Targeted and data-driven printed materials produced from variable text and graphics designed and personalized for specific audiences. - Short-Run Digital Color - Materials that have been produced as low-quantity, high-quality color digital printing, including jobs where offset color printing is not as cost-effective as digital printing. - Digital Books and Manuals - Any multiple-page finished document. - Monochrome and Highlight Color - Any high-volume transactional print job printed in black-and-white or black and one color. Submissions will be judged by an independent panel on overall aesthetics, business effectiveness, use of digital technology, and degree of innovation. More than 14 prizes will be awarded, including a new prize for outstanding use of Xerox substrates and specialty media. Each client, creative and printer team member identified in the winning entry will receive a prize, for every award. The Best of Show and Gold winners in each entry category will receive travel certificates ranging up to $5,000. Entries will be accepted through June 30 and must be produced using Xerox digital equipment. For information about the contest, visit www.xerox.com/pixi
