Nipson Appoints Heberto Pachon As Vice President Of Bus. Development

(Elk Grove Village, IL)  June 21, 2005 – Nipson America, Inc., the manufacturer of high-speed digital black and white printing presses, announced today the appointment of Heberto Pachon as Vice President of Business Development. In this position, Pachon will strengthen distribution channels supported by a team of Regional Sales Managers and develop new business opportunities in the Americas. He brings to the position several years of experience acquired as General Manager of Latin American operations for Nipson. “Pachon has been instrumental in developing our network of distributor channels in Latin America and he will continue to provide this level of support,” said Robert Stabler, President of Nipson America, Inc. “He will be actively involved in strengthening Nipson’s partnerships in the United States and in Canada, where we are poised for strong growth in 2005.” Previous to this position as General Manager for Latin America at Nipson, Pachon was the Regional Business Manager at Xeikon and the Manager of the Electronic Prepress Systems Division at Cabarria & Cia S.A.  Pachon has an Executive MBA in Business from Florida International University in addition to a BS in Industrial Engineering and a BS in Systems and Computing Engineering from the University de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. “I am very excited about working with our network of distributors to increase sales and service offerings,” said Pachon. “Our recent partnerships announced with Pitman and Pitney Bowes are emblematic of the success we are having domestically and we are looking to replicate this success in new markets such as Canada.”
