Press release from the issuing company

Toronto, 6 May 2008. Crawford Technologies Inc., the leading provider of transactional document reengineering solutions, announced today the release of Version 3.4 of all four of its PRO software product families including core transform and conversions, document re-engineering, archive, and workflow.

“Version 3.4 includes significant new functionality in response to customer requests and evolving industry directions,” said Ernie Crawford, President, Crawford Technologies Inc. “Version 3.4 shows our ongoing commitment to our customers. They asked for these new capabilities in order to achieve their business goals, and we delivered”.

New functionality in today’s Version 3.4 release includes:

•    PRO Document Enhancer now has the ability to convert and stream documents to multiple files in different PDLs in a single pass of a print file.
•    Weight Tables for document sortation, splitting and consolidation by weight
•    PRO Workflow Family extensions, including a seamless PRO Workflow Connector interface between PRO Workflow JES and PRO Workflow Server, which supports the transfer of output and metadata from z/OS JES spools to Unix/Windows and back
•    Efficiency enhancements, including faster processing of very large multi-GB files and faster ingestion speed for very large print files in Dynamic Document Archive, our Transpromo/transaction document archive
•    PRO Document Enhancer can now use AFP fonts and code pages when adding text to pages
•    A GUI has been added to PRO Reprint and Recovery

“The streaming capability allows a user to provide a print file in any format, and in a single pass we can output some statements in PDF, some in AFP, and some in PostScript or other formats based on user directives. This is a very powerful capability, as are the other advancements in this release” said Stuart Warner, VP of Marketing and Sales for Crawford Technologies Inc.
