Mohawk Adds Sales Support Throughout the US

[Cohoes, NY] – With its purchase of the Fine Papers business from International Paper, Mohawk Paper Mills, Inc. announces the expansion of its sales force in key regions across the country. The new sales force is now 16 people stronger, with a combined team of 52 persons representing Mohawk in the US. For a complete list of new hires by region, see the next page. Mohawk has also added to its international sales presence with the hire of Andrew Wilson as International Sales Manager and Cheryl Lavender representing specification sales in Canada. “Each of the new team members was carefully selected. Each has a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge in the paper and graphic arts industries. We are happy to have this newly expanded team on board,” says Richard LaBonge, Senior Vice President, Sales. LaBonge stepped into his new position, overseeing all sales and customer service functions for Mohawk late last year. He sees his newly expanded team as a positive organizational change that will continue to strengthen Mohawk’s position as the largest manufacturer of premium writing, text, cover and digital papers.
