Kodak's Jeff Jacobson to Deliver Keynote at the IPA Technical Conference

ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 1 -- Jeff Jacobson, President, Graphic Solutions & Services and Chief Operating Officer, Kodak's Graphic Communications Group, will deliver a keynote speech to the IPA Technical Conference on June 7 at 8:45 am CDT. The conference will be held from June 7-9 at the Westin O'Hare in Rosemont, Illinois. Jacobson's speech, "Winning in the 21st Century Graphic Communications Market," will explore ways graphic communications service providers can grow their businesses by expanding services available for their customers and utilizing technology to create new opportunities. "Kodak sees a bright future for the graphic communications industry," Jacobson said. "We can access new markets today. Printers and service providers that become more comprehensive sources of integrated communications campaigns can succeed in capturing larger percentages of their customers' marketing budgets." As President of the Graphic Solutions & Services unit and COO of Kodak's Graphic Communications Group, Jacobson is driving the company toward its goal of delivering market-leading technologies, products and services that enhance the way customers operate. Prior to joining Kodak, Jacobson was Chief Executive Officer of Kodak Polychrome Graphics from March 2000 until the integration of KPG into Kodak's Graphic Communications Group in April 2005. Jacobson joined KPG when it was formed in January 1998 as President of the United States & Canada Region and Corporate Vice President. Jacobson is an active leader in the graphic arts industry. He is the former chairman of the advisory committee of New York University's Center for Graphic Arts Management and Technology, as well as a former member of the board of directors of the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (GATF). In May 2001, the Association of Graphic Communications honored Mr. Jacobson with the Power of Communication Award. The award recognizes leaders in the graphic arts for their positive influence, creative excellence and outstanding achievements in the world of communications and publishing.
