East Rutherford, New Jersey — Robert Berg is the new General Manager of MAN Roland’s Eastern Region for Sheetfed Operations, replacing Todd Andrews who has been promoted to Executive Vice President and General Counsel of MAN Roland Inc. A highly experienced graphic arts veteran, Berg started his career as an intern with MAN Roland in Spain. He subsequently spent 25 years with the Buhrmann Group, working in Spain, Singapore, Greece, the United States, and Mexico, where he ran Heidelberg’s distribution channel through most of the ’90s. Known in the industry as a customer-focused, hard-working, successful executive, Berg has also run his own leadership development consultancy. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Colegio Aleman San Alberto Magno in Barcelona, and an MBA in International General Management from CEDEP-INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. In his new post at MAN Roland, Berg reports to Eric Belcher, COO of Sheetfed Operations. “We are very proud that Robert has chosen to join our team, as we continue to staff up to support our ongoing growth,” Belcher says. “He knows the technology; he knows the people; and he knows how to combine those positive forces to advance our industry.” After assisting in the transition of the Eastern Region to Robert Berg, Todd Andrews will return to MAN Roland Inc.’s headquarters in Westmont, outside of Chicago, to take charge of Legal, Quality Assurance and Human Resources for the company.
