Using SendMe and Xerox WorkCentre Pro systems, people can now scan a document, preview it using EFI's scanning kiosk and with the push of a button, transform critical hardcopy information into digital files that can be sent anywhere in the world, instantly. Customers can simultaneously send the documents to any number of e-mail addresses, fax machines/servers, or printers, or file them on a desktop, network or document management systems, such as Xerox DocuShare(TM) enterprise content management (ECM) software. Combining SendMe with a document management system enhances productivity by accelerating and simplifying the inclusion of meta-data, giving the newly scanned document context within the corporation's existing document workflow. SendMe users scan pages in full color, grayscale or black-and-white, and preview the digital files as thumbnails or full-page images in PDF, TIFF or JPEG format using a large, intuitive touch-screen interface. Documents are immediately available via e-mail, ftp, online repository or through a fax server. Additionally, the delivery capabilities of SendMe offer significant cost savings compared to the traditional delivery methods, overnight service, faxing, and postal mail.
