Rocky Mountain Printing Strengthens Short Run Color Capabilities With Nexpress Optima Solution

Press release from the issuing company

Norwalk, Connecticut, USA — Rocky Mountain Printing, a Utah commercial printer, recently installed the Kodak NexPress optima solution to better fulfill its customers’ short run color and variable content printing production needs. The installation is the first for Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) since announcing an agreement with Kodak to sell products from NexPress last fall. “With the Kodak NexPress optima solution, we can provide our customers with the customization, high quality color and paper stock options they need to create powerful print communications,” said Teague Bengtzen, President, Rocky Mountain Printing. “We also appreciate the partnership KPG forms with its customers. We have worked with other digital press manufacturers before and we continue to be impressed with the support KPG offers us.” Designed to drive digital print volume by opening up new business opportunities, the NexPress optima solution includes all the hardware, software and professional consulting tools necessary to create a fully automated workflow for higher volume applications such as recurring web-to-print jobs. Ideal for printers demanding a higher average monthly print volume of mixed and complex jobs, the bundle solution includes the Kodak NexPress 2100 digital production color press, the Kodak NexStation III XE front end, the Kodak NexTreme web-to-print exchange solution and Kodak NexTreme Media Producer software for web-to-print applications; the Kodak NexTreme OneFlow+ workflow solution, the Kodak NexTreme DL-100 and DL-1000 variable data software for VDP applications; and the Kodak NexPert business development toolkit and four Kodak NexPert FastStart consulting programs. Providers can also add the Kodak NexPress fifth imaging unit. Founded in 1989, Rocky Mountain Printing offers services covering all facets of print, digital print, fulfillment, digital asset management, prepress and post press production. With two Utah offices located in Orem and St. George, Rocky Mountain Printing serves a varied customer base across the United States.
