PIA/GATF Renovation & Building Dedication

Press release from the issuing company

Pittsburgh, Pa., May 3, 2005 - PIA/GATF, the world's largest graphic arts trade association, represents an industry with more than 1.2 million employees. Recently, the organization completed a renovation allowing PIA/GATF to create a world-class facility for research and education.  The transformation included a 10,000-sq.-ft. addition to its existing facility.  This new space is designed to accommodate staff from the Alexandria, VA, location in the new world headquarters plus the space necessary to fulfill the PIA/GATF research commitment. This fully functioning 52,000-sq.-ft. printing facility, housing more than $25 million in state-of-the-art equipment, is operating to establish benchmarks and standards that could result in increased proficiencies and profits for the entire industry.  PIA/GATF will have a dedication ceremony of the refurbished facility on Saturday, May 14, 2005.
