Pictorial Offset Corporation Wins Numerous Awards in the AGC Graphic Arts Awards Competition

Carlstadt, NJ – May 2, 2005 – Pictorial Offset Corporation has won a total of 20 Awards in the recent 63rd Annual AGC Graphic Arts Awards.  The 13 - Achievement Certificates, 5 - Showcase Certificates and 2 - Technical Excellence Awards represented many of the capabilities of Pictorial Corporation.  Of the two Technical Excellence Award winning pieces, one was produced for the New York Times Company for The Power Years brochure, and the other for Safilo America for Ralph Lauren Eyewear counter and tent cards. Says Donald Samuels, Managing Partner of Pictorial Corporation, “We are especially proud of the Technical Excellence Awards in that Pictorial has won 2 of only 16 awarded in a field of 600 entries.  The New York Times piece, "The Power Years” brochure," won a second award for Creative Usage of Paper in this competition as well.  Both of these printed pieces were printed using Creo Staccato screening technology.”  Lester Samuels, also a Managing Partner of Pictorial Corporation and the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of AGC said, “ These award-winning printed pieces exhibit our expertise as the finest commercial printer to the print-buying community.  We are very proud of these Awards and our continued affiliation with the Association of Graphic Communication.  But we are most proud of our customers, our technology, our suppliers, and of our employees - who all make recognition like this possible.”
