Print 05 & Converting 05 Announces Gallus Participation

Press release from the issuing company

Reston, VA – Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC), producers of PRINT 05 & CONVERTINGSM 05, has secured Gallus, Inc. as an exhibitor in the upcoming event. The narrow web press manufacturer, founded in 1923, has never participated in a PRINT event before, but made the decision to exhibit this year based on the potential to expand their market share through the CONVERTING 05 event. “We’re very pleased to welcome Gallus to the PRINT 05 & CONVERTING 05 exhibitor family, and feel they’ve shown great confidence in our event by participating. As a Heidelberg Partner, they bring significant resources and a wide range of solutions to the event that attendees should find very attractive,” said Regis J. Delmontagne, President of GASC, the show’s producer. Gallus considers itself to be the leading vendor to label printers, and offers a wide range of tag and label printing solutions in over 100 countries worldwide. They patented their first tag and label printer in 1925, and have been developing innovative, industry-leading printing solutions for a variety of tag and label printing applications ever since. “We have every confidence that our participation in the upcoming PRINT 05 & CONVERTING 05 event in Chicago will be a huge hit among both tag and label customers and commercial printers alike,” noted Jonathan C. Guy, President of Gallus, Inc. “We weighed our participation in this event against other events that have served our market in the past, and felt this was the best way to put our best foot forward in opening up some new markets for our products. We felt that this event above all others offered us the greatest opportunity to introduce ourselves to commercial printers, and provided the best venue to showcase our range of products to our customers and prospects,” he continued. Gallus’ participation in the event puts them in good company among package printing and converting industry-leading companies who will be exhibiting in the huge international Chicago show. Other such exhibitors include: Bielomatic Jagenberg, Blumer/W+D, Bobst Group, Brausse Group, Carton Craft, CG Machinery, Colter & Peterson, Esko Graphics, Kampf, KBA, Korber Paperlink, Nordson, Standard Paper Box, Sun Chemical, UV Systems and many others. PRINT 05 & CONVERTING 05 will be the largest event in 2005 for the commercial, package printing and converting industries. The event, encompassing nearly 750,000 square feet, and hosting over 70,000 attendees interacting with nearly 800 exhibitors will span seven days in the expansive McCormick Place Complex, Chicago, IL. The event will provide commercial and package printers, converters and service providers in the graphic communications industry a unique opportunity to see the latest prepress, printing, converting and related equipment together under one roof in the US. PRINT is produced by GASC every four years, and will be next held in McCormick Place in 2005. In addition to PRINT & CONVERTING, GASC manages the leading annual industry show serving the North American graphic communications, converting and package printing market, GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO. GASC also produces the annual GUTENBERGSM & DIGITAL OUTLOOKSM show, and the annual VUE/POINT Conference.
