Enovation Road Show Aims to Arm Printers With 'Power Proofing'

VALHALLA, N.Y. (May 3, 2005) – From remote monitor proofing and inkjet proofing to wide-format digital imaging and high-end halftone proofing, Enovation’s new “Power Proofing” road show will arm printers with the knowledge and technology they need to build more powerful relationships with their customers. The series of road shows will kick off on May 5th at Enovation’s Hanover Park demo center and will feature Fujifilm’s new FinalProof GxT digital halftone proofer, the Fujifilm PictroProof contone proofer running in conjunction with ICS’ Remote Director monitor-based proofing system, the Mutoh Falcon II Outdoor and the Epson 4000 inkjet proofer with a GMG RIP. “Our ‘Power Proofing’ road show offers printers, prepress shops and agencies an opportunity to get the latest information and see the newest proofing technologies available to meet their needs,” said Tim Combs, senior vice president, sales and marketing, for Enovation. “We also invite everyone to come talk with Enovation’s experts as well as our manufacturing partners to determine the options and the best solutions for them.” Enovation’s “Power Proofing” road shows will cover a variety of proofing issues, including remote proofing, inkjet and halftone dot proofing, two-sided imposition, large-format digital printing and end-to-end color management. Additionally, Enovation’s expertise in workflow, color and print technology allows its experts to offer information and provide training on the issues facing graphic communications professionals today, including: • implementing process control in prepress and the pressroom. • matching color from proof-to-press, press-to-press and facility-to-facility. • implementing ICC-based color management. • achieving and maintaining color standards such as SWOP and GRACoL. • implementing advanced screening technologies. Each road show will include a presentation (given at 9 a.m. and again at 1 p.m.) as well as live demonstrations of the equipment.
