DALLAS–(April 2005)– Padgett Printing President and CEO David Torok, announced The Padgett Award for Best Senior Portfolio of the Year went to Matt George from The University of North Texas. Torok presented the coveted award to Matt at the DSVC (Dallas Society of Visual Communications) 2005 National Student Conference awards ceremony held in Dallas at Adams Mark Hotel. The Padgett Award, established in 1977 and named in memory of Hal W. Padgett and Jay D. Padgett of Padgett Printing Corporation, acknowledges the achievement of an outstanding student, sponsoring the winner’s trip to the How Magazine Design Conference.
