QuadTech, Inc. appoints new Director of Engineering

April 22, 2005 -- QuadTech, Inc., the leading designer and manufacturer of automated press control systems, has appointed Vince Balistrieri as its new Director of Engineering. Based at QuadTech’s Headquarters in Sussex, Wisconsin, Vince will be responsible for QuadTech''s Engineering Division and will oversee the ongoing research and development of cutting-edge auxiliary press and finishing equipment for the printing industry. Vince joins QuadTech from the Fortune 100 company, Johnson Controls, where he served as Director of Engineering for four years, leading Johnson Controls’ efforts in developing building automation systems. Previously, Vince held several engineering positions with Rockwell International and Rockwell Automation, including development and management of software and firmware. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. “With over 20 years industry experience, Vince’s knowledge and expertise in developing and supporting controllers and software tools for automation systems, will prove invaluable in ensuring that QuadTech’s product range is ahead of the competition,” states Karl Fritchen, President of QuadTech. “I am thrilled to be working with QuadTech’s respected engineering division, providing world class solutions to QuadTech’s customers,” comments Vince. “The opportunity to join a company with such a history of innovation and leading-edge products was one not to miss. This will help QuadTech’s customers advance their businesses, enabling them to achieve even greater levels of productivity and profitability.
