Dennis Wolters, President and CEO of Day International, says, "Day has always been evolving and we have always strived to stay ahead of the changing marketplace. In the last 10 years, the marketplace has been changing at an unprecedented rate, and Day has been changing at a rapid rate as well. With the changes and challenges that the printing and textile industries face today, we want to continue providing products, services and production solutions to truly help our customers in their operations. We're now able to provide them the range of product choices, superior technical support and reliability they need to compete." In addition to amassing a diverse offering of printing and textile products, Day has also re-aligned its sales and service organization to provide more in-depth technical support and generally more field service and support. The new organization is a real added value and tangible point of difference for the customer. Day is now identified with a new logo and theme line. The new logo is an evolution of the original Day logo introduced in 1986. The logo still displays the rays of a rising sun, signifying a brand new day, and the theme line, Defining Excellence, has been added to reinforce Day's commitment to continuous improvement and aspiration to "define excellence" in everything the company does. Mr. Wolters adds, "2005 marks the 100 year anniversary of Day International. We think of it as 100 years of continuously improving -- always aspiring to achieve excellence; looking for ways to add more value for the customer. There's no better time to re-introduce Day to the marketplace. We've had a long, exciting history marked by change, innovation and value. We're convinced the steps we've taken over the last 10 years, represent a particularly bright spot in our 100-year history -- both for Day and our customers.
