Tensor and Sun Chemical Latin America Establish Partnership

SAO PAULO, BRAZIL / March 2005 - Sun Chemical Latin America, a division of Sun Chemical Corporation, announced that it has reached an agreement to represent and sell a wide range of the newspaper printing equipment and services from The Tensor Group, a leading manufacturer of web offset printing presses for the newspaper and insert market. The agreement establishes Sun Chemical Latin America as the exclusive agent for Tensor newspaper presses, parts, and services in all countries of South and Central America and the Caribbean, excluding Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. The products covered by the agreement are: Tensor T-1400 units; Tensor T-400BE units; Tensor T-2400 units; Tensor T-1 Folder; Tensor H-50 Folder; and Spare Parts. The Sun Chemical Latin America executives engineering this important partnership were Fernando Tavara, Vice President of Sales, who has had previous extensive experience representing Tensor products in Latin America, and Gregory Lawson, President and General Manager of Sun Chemical Latin America. “By partnering our extensive and reputable consumables product line with a quality equipment manufacturer like Tensor, we are able to add great strength to our products and services and present ourselves as a more complete supplier for all our customers graphic arts needs,” said Fernando Tavara.
