inspirepac Implements PECAS Vision ERP

Press release from the issuing company

Sheffield, England -- April 16, 2008 - Radius Solutions Ltd., the leading integrated Business Information Management/Enterprise Resource Planning provider for the Packaging and Printing industry, announced that inspirepac is implementing PECAS Vision to support the company's immediate and long term business objectives.

Formed in February 2007 from a merger of four well established specialty packaging organizations, inspirepac is an independent group based at Chesterfield, Wetherby and Runcorn.  It incorporates five business units and employs more than 250 people.  The organization offers full design services and produces a wide variety of items in the areas of high quality flexo print, POS, Retail Ready Packaging and Corrugated Packaging.  With a focus on innovation, high quality service for customers and hiring talented employees, the company has goals for growth both organically and through acquisition.

The decision to take a new system was based on a number of factors.  inspirepac needed to move to a standard application that could be rolled out across all of its facilities, and move away from in-house customization of disparate systems.  The organization was looking for an off-the-shelf solution that would fit the industry specific processes of its organization, with the flexibility and configurability to map to each of its facilities needs.  The ability to generate and provide access to management information was also a key consideration in selecting a new system.

The company had a selection team led by three people who spent more than three months reviewing several industry specific solution providers and presenting their final recommendations to the company's Board of Directors, before selecting PECAS Vision from Radius Solutions.  One of their existing sites was already running an older version of PECAS Vision, but it was the current release that was evaluated and selected.  The organization will be moving to the latest release as the new corporate standard.  "We needed a standard system that would facilitate access to management information, fit our process flows and communicate with other systems.  We felt that PECAS Vision had the flexibility to fit our needs.  To my mind it best suited our total requirements", said Phil Kirk, Group IT Manager at inspirepac.

inspirepac is implementing the entire PECAS Vision suite including: Sales and Production Estimating, Order Handling, Production Scheduling, Shop Floor Data Collection, Material Purchasing and Inventory Control, Job Costing and Financials.  The application is in the process of being rolled out at the Wetherby location and is currently running on time and to budget.  "The PECAS Vision implementation consultants in England have been excellent.  The solution is so well productized that we can be up and running quickly", stated Mr. Kirk.

"Partnering with inspirepac is a perfect fit for Radius Solutions.  They need a long term strategic solutions provider with a leading industry specific software package, backed up by world class services and support", stated Kevin Blakey, Operations Director at Radius Solutions.  "We are very pleased to be working with them", said Mr. Blakey.
