KBA North America Names Michael Iburg New Product Specialist

Press release from the issuing company

KBA North America, a leading supplier of sheetfed offset and digital presses based in Williston, VT, has named Michael Iburg to the position of product specialist. Iburg will be the lead representative for the technical and applications issues for the KBA sales staff, press and trade magazine editors, and customers who are seeking information and explanation on KBA’s wide variety of press equipment. “I am extremely excited to be joining KBA North America at this point in the company’s long and prosperous history,” says Iburg. “My vast printing experience and education will contribute to the company’s goal of helping printers differentiating themselves. I feel that I have a pivotal job to explain all of our new products and show our customers how they can benefit their business and their own customers.” Born in Denmark, Iburg graduated with excellence from the Copenhagen Graphic Technical School and began his career in the graphic arts industry as a press operator, soon rising to pressroom manager. In 1999, he started a company, which he sold a few years later. In August 2001, Iburg moved to the U.S. and worked for a commercial printer. “We are pleased that Michael Iburg has joined our company to help to support our wide array of printing equipment,” says Ralf Sammeck, KBA North America’s president and CEO. “His vast experience and deep knowledge of the printing application and technology will help our customers learn how our equipment can greatly benefit them in their business models.”
