Tuesday, April 12, 2005

Press release from the issuing company

April 11th, 2005 – Goss International has today announced the expanded appointment of Nissa Media Project as the agent for a range of Goss branded newspaper products in Russia and a number of the CIS countries. Nissa will handle the sale of the Goss Community and Universal single-width press ranges as well as double-width products including the Goss Colorliner, Newsliner and Uniliner presses. Nissa will also be supporting spare parts and servicing and the Goss press enhancement program. Vladimir Kretinin, Commercial Director at Nissa Media Project, comments, “We are delighted that Goss has chosen Nissa Media Project as agents for many of its newspaper products. We have had a very successful 2004 and hope that in 2005 we will be able to continue our success with both single and double-width newspaper press sales.” In 2004 alone, Nissa and Goss worked on a number of customer projects together resulting in orders for 8 Goss Community presses across sites throughout Russia. Kretinin continues, “The newspaper market in Russia and the CIS countries has been undergoing tremendous change in recent years in terms of color quality and production run-length. As a result of these changes, existing printing plants have had to be reconstructed and new ones built. Goss has the perfect product range for this market and has listened carefully to the needs of newspaper printers and publishers, to become one of the market leaders in this region.” Founded over 10 years ago, Nissa Company is an established distributor for the printing industry and has a network of representatives across Russia and the CIS countries. Philip Zimmerman, Sales Manager for Goss International in the region, confirms, “We have had a very promising start with Nissa in 2004 and strive to maintain strong relationships with our agents. The Goss Community press is still one of the most popular presses in this region and its broad range of options and features makes it ideally suited for the requirements of this market, together with other strong Goss products including the Universal press and our double width portfolio of presses.”
