Nipson Signs Distributor Agreement With Pitman

Press release from the issuing company

(Elk Grove Village, IL) - April 4, 2005 - Nipson America announces a distributor agreement with Pitman Co. (Totowa, NJ), one of the largest suppliers to the commercial printing, labeling, and packaging industries. This distribution partnership establishes Nipson as Pitman’s digital printing manufacturer of choice for commercial printers, packaging companies, and converters. “We see tremendous opportunity for our customer base to add digital capabilities to their existing flexo and narrow web offset presses and Nipson is the ideal technology to fulfill this need, “says Joe Demharter, President of Pitman, Co. “Nipson’s unique integration capabilities allow our customers to add variable data printing inline with their existing printing equipment at a very attractive price point.  This combination helps meet market demands for variable data while delivering a strong ROI.” Nipson and Pitman plan to target commercial printers, converters, and packaging operations under the terms of this agreement.   Labels, tags, books on demand, security documents, specialty pieces and any application that can benefit from an integrated or stand-alone digital printing are ideal for Nipson’s highly flexible, cold-flash fusion technology. “Through this partnership we will be able to work with print professionals to leverage their current equipment along with our flexible digital printing technology to gain business in new markets,” says Robert Stabler, president of Nipson America.  “This is a unique offering that can only be achieved with Nipson technology and we are pleased to be working with Pitman: a company that has a hard-earned, excellent reputation in the printing and packaging industry.”
