GPO's Chief Of Staff Joins Panel Of Technology Industry Leaders At On Demand

Press release from the issuing company

PHILADELPHIA--U.S. Government Printing Office Chief of Staff Robert C. Tapella was among a select group of technology industry leaders to participate in a panel discussion about the transformation of the graphic arts industry and its future during this year's ON DEMAND Conference and Exposition. "The GPO is at the epicenter of change in the ways humans create and use information to communicate, remain informed, research a topic and preserve a record."  The transformation underway at the GPO is no different than the changes we are seeing in the graphic arts industry," said Bob Tapella.  "I am honored to have been able to provide insight into the trends we are seeing today and give those present a sneak peek into what is likely to take place in the next decade." Tapella was asked to participate in this year's panel "A Strategic Review of Business Transformation in the Graphic Arts" after delivering the keynote address at ON DEMAND two years ago.  That speech, which took place before GPO's transformation began, focused on the changing nature of print communication.  Today, Tapella spoke about the progress made in the last two years and the achievements accomplished in such a short time. ON DEMAND Conference and Exposition is a yearly gathering for digital printing, automated production, marketing and communications, and IT professionals.
