Reston, VA – Graphic Arts Show Company today released information regarding new products offered at the upcoming GUTENBERG & DIGITAL OUTLOOK 2005, April 28 -30, 2005 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The following is just a sampling of the wide range of products and services available at this top event: Datatech SmartSoft, Inc. has announced the immediate availability of the MUV Move Updating Module for SmartAddresser2020, their full service mail management software suite. SmartAddresser2020’s MUV Module option provides new address information from the United States Postal Service’s FASTForward system when the addressee has filed a permanent Change of Address. SmartAddresser2020’s MUV Module is easy to use and simple to understand. THERM-O-TYPE will be offering the NSF A3+, a high speed, sheet fed press. NSF A3+ capabilities include hot foil stamping, blind and foil embossing, die cutting, “kiss” cutting, perforating, imprinting, and numbering. Standard NSF A3+ features include: Windows based touch screen control, 12 1/4" x 19" max. sheet size, up to 5,500 impressions per hour, electronic paper registration and foil draw controls, foil tension control, registration table with side jogger and head-stop, micrometer vertical, horizontal and skew paper registration adjustments, jam detect/interrupt, and much more. A B B Labels will be featuring their new 2005 Full Color Label Catalog. The catalog features a variety of pressure sensitive labels from standard shipping labels and stock EDP & laser labels, to custom labels of various sizes and shapes, to stock caution & D.O.T. labels. It is designed to be a simple and informative guide in selection and ordering of pressure sensitive labels. X-Rite will be showing the X-Rite Pulse ColorElite System, a complete solution that allows the management of all their devices: monitor, scanner, digital camera, and printer. This system provides the hardware to precisely capture color and the software to accurately analyze and interpret the data. Designed for ICC profiling and calibration, the system ensures high quality proof-to-press matching for proofing specialists, and provides maximum flexibility and control in creating optimized separations for on-demand printers and prepress professionals. Xerox’s new WorkCentre C2424 multifunction product (MFP) allows users to print color documents at 24 pages per minute. The WorkCentre C2424 is the first MFP to use Xerox’s proprietary solid ink technology, giving small and mid-sized businesses an affordable option for copying and printing brochures, presentations and proposals in vibrant color. The Xerox Phaser EX7750 combines the speed and color quality of the award-winning Phaser 7750 with the advanced print management capabilities of an EFI Fiery Network Color Server, creating a high-end color workhorse capable of printing complex images at 35 pages per minute. Designed to deliver accurate, high-quality color to any document, the Phaser EX7750 is well suited for in-plant print shops, design studios, or businesses that want to save time and money by printing professional-grade documents in-house. Satori Software offers an extensive list of new features that will be available in Bulk Mailer 5. The new release allows a single screen set up for experienced users; greatly increased speed for address correction processing and the product can automatically check for live updates via the Internet. Mailing reports can be saved and reprinted, a completely re-written presort and a new report engine has been implemented. The Geocode Add-on returns latitude and longitude data during the address correction process. A new query has been added to the Groups Wizard that allows records to be selected based on a defined radius from an origin ZIP Code. The Residential Delivery Indicator (RDI) Add-on provides an interface to the USPS RDI data to flag whether or not an address is residential. ImageDJ supplies royalty-free stock photography to creative professionals at affordable prices. ImageDJ has introduced fresh and useful images to the world.
