HUDSON, N.H., March 30 -- Presstek, Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer of environmentally responsible high tech digital imaging solutions for the graphic arts and laser imaging markets, announced today that as a result of its recent acquisition of the A.B.Dick Company, it has restructured its European operations at the ABDick facility in Brentford, London. The new company, Presstek-Europe, combines Presstek's current European distributor business and the business of ABDick in the U.K. under the leadership of a strong management team. Quen Baum, who has successfully managed ABDick's business in the U.K. for the past ten years, has been appointed Managing Director for Presstek-Europe. As such, Baum is responsible for the operations of Presstek's European dealer network as well as its ABDick U.K. operation. Ray Hillhouse, who has served in various sales and management positions at ABDick U.K. over the past 15 years, has been appointed Managing Director of ABDick U.K., reporting to Baum at Presstek-Europe. ABDick U.K. will continue to represent the company's operations in the U.K., and will be adopting a new corporate image to reflect its new ownership and direction. "This is an exciting opportunity to move Presstek's business forward in Europe, as well as enhance the support of our already sizeable customer base from a European headquarters," remarked Baum.
