Xitron Announces Retirement of President Jim Thrush

Ann Arbor, Michigan – April 14, 2008 – Xitron, the prepress industry's leading independent developer and integrator of Raster Image Processors, RIP management software and workflow solutions, today announced that Jim Thrush, President of Xitron, will retire after twelve years with the company.

Jim began his career with Xitron in 1996 as a sales representative and was soon promoted to the position of Vice President, Sales & Marketing.  In 2000, Jim became President of Xitron and was responsible for building Xitron's worldwide dealer network and expanding role as an OEM supplier.

During Jim's tenure, Xitron achieved many milestones including the successful transition from being just a provider of replacement RIPs to becoming a leading provider of workflow solutions with support for more than 250 different output devices. In addition, Xitron just recently celebrated its thirtieth anniversary and shipped its 15,000th RIP and workflow solution.

Commenting on his retirement Jim stated, "I've been very fortunate to have had a successful career including time with Itek, Gerber, Crosfield and Scitex.  However of all the opportunities I've had, I particularly enjoyed my time at Xitron and have had the privilege of making many good friends."

Jim concluded by saying, "In addition to spending time with my family, I look forward to riding my motorcycle, golfing and bowling."

Upon Jim's retirement, Mark Eisenschenk, Chief Executive Officer of Xitron, will assume Jim's previous role.
