Valassis Announces Dismissal of Class Action Lawsuit

LIVONIA, Mich., March 14 -- Valassis, the leading company in marketing services and Connective Media(TM), announced today the dismissal on March 10, 2005, of a purported class action lawsuit filed on October 22, 2004, in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan against the Company, its Chief Executive Officer, Alan F. Schultz and its Chief Financial Officer Robert L. Recchia. The Plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed the case without any payment, compensation or fees being provided to them.
