Anderson to Install Two Eight-color Presses

Press release from the issuing company

LOS ANGELES, April 21  -- Anderson Lithograph, a Cenveo company, announced this week that it has executed an agreement to purchase two state-of-the-art Heidelberg presses. The presses are expected to be installed and operational by July 31st, 2008.

The new Heidelberg XL 105-8 + LX eight-color and coater sheet-fed presses are equipped with the latest color control systems, and can print with both conventional and UV inks. They will provide significant productivity improvements, enabling Anderson to provide additional print capacity to customers.

"As a leader in commercial printing, and the most sustainable print manufacturing environment in the industry, Anderson continues to invest in world-class technology," said Anderson President Mark Tennant. "This investment strengthens our leading manufacturing platform, while also yielding higher production per kilowatt of energy. That heightened efficiency helps maintain our company's competitive edge in the markets we serve, not only by improving productivity, but also by demonstrating our continued focus on the environment."

Robert G. Burton, Sr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cenveo, agreed. "This technology investment supports our continued commitment to expanding our leadership position in the high-end commercial print market," he said. "It helps our customers set themselves apart from competitors, and enables us to provide them with an extended range of services. We will continue to invest in leading technology that improves productivity and efficiencies while meeting and exceeding our customers' needs."
