The Asia Pacific region is one of QuadTech’s fastest growing territories, and so to meet projected growth and increased customer demand, QuadTech announces organizational changes to its existing sales force in the region. Terry Schaefer, QuadTech International Technical Sales Support, comes from an engineering background and brings a wealth of knowledge in press controls application and integration, as well as material handling technologies. Terry’s area of responsibility has now expanded, and he will offer his extensive experience, as well as his expertise in effectively managing color control, to QuadTech’s agents and their clients in Australia and New Zealand, as well as QuadTech’s operations in India, China and the rest of the Asia Pacific region. He will continue to provide technical sales support to Japan. David Mitchell - Manager QuadTech Asia Pacific, now takes the added responsibility for managing the sales activities of QuadTech’s agents – Plunkett and Johnson for commercial web offset applications and Ferag Australia, newspapers, in Australia and New Zealand. David’s vast experience in the printing industry has led to excellent working relationships with press manufacturers, as well as most of the newspaper printers in this region. His knowledge and experience ensure that he is best placed to offer QuadTech’s agents and their clients tailored solutions that will help them to meet increased demands for more color, better registration and improved workflows, in additional to lowering waste. According to David Barton, Director of Sales for QuadTech, the added responsibilities that these two long-standing employees have taken up will help printers to move to more highly automated, high quality manufacturing processes. “The Asia Pacific marketplace is becoming increasingly competitive, and while it''s essential for us to optimize face-to-face sales time with our customers, it is of equal importance to ensure the provision of a continued, exceptional level of technical sales support to our customers, our agents and sales personnel. We have total confidence that both David and Terry will bring new levels of customer focus to our operations in these areas that will ensure our customers receive the technologies and services they need in order meet the demands of today’s competitive marketplace conditions.
