Miami, FL – Graphics of the Americas – February 4, 2005 – Agfa announced today the installation of its high-speed flexographic plate system, AquaFLASH, at Trinity Graphic in Sarasota, Florida. The fastest choice available to the flexo market, AquaFLASH images a plate in approximately 45 minutes using a water-wash system, compared with several hours for solvent-based plate systems. It provides resolutions up to175 lpi for uncompromising quality on press. World-renowned for its work in the tag and label industry, Trinity Graphic produces plates for label and narrow web printers in the United States, Europe and Asia. Its ability to meet tight manufacturing and delivery deadlines is critical. “With the AquaFLASH plate system we are able to produce a plate in half the time it would take using a solvent-based system.
