Vue/Point Conference Selects Hilton Property For April 11 - 13 Event

Press release from the issuing company

Reston, VA – Graphic Arts Show Company today announced that the annual VUE/POINT Conference will be held at the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, April 11-13, 2005. VUE/POINT Conference, the graphic communications industry’s only fully-interactive peer-to-peer conference, will maintain the same discussion format, and include tabletop exhibits, evening roundtables, social events, and panel sessions during the three days it is held. “We felt the Hilton had the most to offer our attendees in terms of family benefits, amenities and other comfort factors,” noted Regis J. Delmontagne, President of GASC. “Once we decided on Orlando as a location for 2005, we felt the Hilton would offer the best value to VUE/POINT Conference attendees. The Hilton caters to families, is easily accessible from anywhere in the country, and lets attendees combine their educational goals with a family holiday at the same time,” noted Michael Vinocur, event manager for the Conference. Additional amenities for the Hilton location include: •Special “Character Breakfast” – Disney characters join guests for breakfast on Sunday mornings; children can have breakfast with Mickey, Goofey and the gang. •Special offer for Hilton guests only: the Early/Late program. Guests are allowed to enter the Disney theme park one hour early before the general public is allowed in. This lets guests get a jump on getting to their preferred destination within the park without waiting in long lines beforehand. Participants can also stay in the park three hours after it closes to the general public, adding to the time available in the park, with fewer crowds, shorter lines at attractions and access to vendors without waiting. •Free Hilton shuttle bus to the park, a two-minute ride away. Topics for the 2005 Conference will give attendees a full-scope view of the graphic arts industry, including all aspects of digital prepress, digital and traditional printing, bindery and post press finishing, wide format inkjet imaging, mailing and fulfillment services and more. Information about VUE/POINT Conference can be found by visiting www.gasc.org. The site also offers information about other GASC events, including PRINT & CONVERTINGSM, GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO, and the GUTENBERGSM & DIGITAL OUTLOOKSM.
