ECRM LAUNCHES CtServer 5.2

ECRM Imaging Systems is launching a new version of its highly successful CtServer software, the next generation of the ECRM TIFF Server application. The new CtServer (version 5.2) is a Windows-based software application, capable of accepting industry standard 1-bit TIFF files. Peter Wilkens, VP Worldwide Marketing at ECRM, comments, “The CtServer application is the interface between workflow systems, RIPs and ECRM output devices. We’ve developed the product to make integrating and connecting ECRM devices fast and painless, by providing a simple network connection.” By controlling all aspects of the output and media handling of the device, CtServer 5.2 enables workflow and RIP software to operate in a highly efficient manner. CtServer 5.2 provides full access to the available features on all ECRM film and metal CTP imaging devices, enabling users to have full control over their jobs, including: Ability to define property sets which control job flow, number of copies, media selection, image placement and image manipulation. Modification of individual job properties including; cropping, rotation, flip, image placement, polarity, magnification and media selection. Specification of media including; size, cut and punch information. Ability to view the image as received or preview as it will be output. Job management features enable the user to pause, resume, delete, retain, abort, re-run or change priority of individual jobs or a selection of multiple jobs. Job list management features enable the user to control the jobs displayed. Selections are; all, active, paused, finished, error, by property set or by media. Peter concludes, “The new CtServer software has been launched at an important time for ECRM. Our CTP products are growing in popularity and CtServer 5.2 supports established products, our new line of automated CTP solutions as well as future launches.”
